The founder of Premier Synthetic Grass, Rathnadeepa “Sam” Samarakoon, believes in providing a quality product at an affordable price. Sam has always excelled in what he has set out to achieve in the past and it is only natural that he has created a company to provide the best of the best to the market place.

The not so pleasant experience of having had installed synthetic grass by an unknown company at his first home in 2005 gave Sam, the edge in being one of the leading synthetic grass companies in Australia today, providing a quality product based on technology.

Sam was a talented sprinter who, represented Sri Lankan athletics for seven consecutive years and was Asian Games Bronze medalist. As an athlete, Sam trained and competed on a wide variety of sporting surfaces which, enabled him to understand different types of synthetic surfaces. Striving for excellence is what he does best.

After graduating with a Batchelor of Electronic Commerce degree, Sam was employed by Coles Group for GNX Reverse Online Auctions, retail store management and his last designation was Coles online manager, handling online operations, for Western suburbs.

After a successful 13 year career with Coles Group Sam, decided to exercise his entrepreneurial spirit and became a business owner in the growing ATM industry; Australian ATM Network was born. Australian ATM Network has expanded into three successful divisions; cashoutatm.com.au, atmparts.com.au, and australianatmnetwork.com.au. which, still operate in many parts of Australia.

In 2009, Sam, started his second company, Premier Synthetic Grass. Sam supplies synthetic grass products to builders and the wholesale market.

Due to Sam’s high standards and providing quality products, word of mouth has exploded his business into the consumer market because of demand. In 2013 Sam and his team decided to open their first retail shopfront to offer best quality products for the lowest possible price without compromising quality. In 2016, due to demand, Premier Synthetic Grass opened its second location in Brisbane. Online presence has help tremendously in suppling quality products throughout the country.
